A cost-effective grassroot development initiative such as WWF has been eminently replicable first intrinsically and then extrinsically. The success of this participatory process of grassroot development by the women of WWF at one socio-economic context gained momentum and gave them the enthusiasm to form spearhead groups to mobilise women in different socio-cultural scenarios and share with them their own development and growth. This resulted in replication in 14 different contexts and transferability to the tribal areas of Orissa, Bihar, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Nepal and Sri Lanka. On a routine basis, orientation is given to visiting international and national delegates from civil society initiatives, government, academic and research institutions, students and many more. In WWF, the professionals and staff do not confine the study teams to mere sharing of experiences/information also provide logistics/boarding/lodging/and other hospitalities.
